Daniel Furey

Daniel Furey is Partner and Global Head of Capital Formation at ClearSky. Mr. Furey brings more than 20 years of experience in capital formation, investor relations, and alternatives distribution across the investment life cycle. Prior to joining ClearSky, Mr. Furey was a Principal at HarbourVest, where he managed capital formation and investor relations activities across the firm’s global investment portfolio. Before HarbourVest, Mr. Furey served as Global Co-Head of Wealth at Global Infrastructure Partners, a division of BlackRock, where he oversaw capital formation and product development across the U.S. and Asia Pacific, managing relationships with institutional and high-net-worth investors globally. Earlier in his career, Mr. Furey held senior leadership roles at UBS, including Global Head of Alternatives Distribution for the Western U.S., Caribbean, and Asia, and served as a member of the Global Executive group at UBS Private Bank in Zurich, where he managed institutional client relationships across Asia and the Western Hemisphere. Mr. Furey also worked as a member of UBS Asset Management’s leadership team in New York and Chicago. He previously served as Director of Institutional Relationship Management at Merrill Lynch’s Investment Bank, where he oversaw equity and debt financing for institutional clients. Mr. Furey holds a B.A. in Economics from Southern Illinois University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He holds Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses. Mr. Furey proudly served with distinction as a United States Marine.
