Joseph Wright is the Chairman of the Investment Committee of ClearSky. Mr. Wright also currently serves as Executive Partner of Comvest Group, Inc. and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Chart National, L.P. Mr. Wright was Executive Chairman of FedData, a provider of IT services to federal government agencies, CEO of Scientific Games Corporation, a leading supplier of server-based lottery networks, Executive Chairman of MTN Satellite Communications, a satellite services company, Chairman of Intelsat, the world’s leading provider of global satellite and fiber communication and transmission services, and CEO of PanAmSat, a satellite-based services company focused on video distribution worldwide, Chairman of GRC International, a provider of advanced information technology to government and commercial customers, and Co-Chairman of Baker & Taylor Holdings, an international book, video and software distribution and e-commerce company. Mr. Wright was also previously Senior Advisor to Chart Capital Partners, Chairman of Tempus Applied Solutions Holdings, Vice Chairman of W.R. Grace & Company, Chairman of Grace Energy Company, President of Grace Environmental Company, president of several credit card subsidiaries of Citibank, Vice President/Partner of Booz, Allen and Hamilton, and held several senior economic and management posts in the Department of Commerce and Agriculture. During the 1980s, he served under President Reagan as Deputy Secretary of Commerce, Director of the Federal Office of Management and Budget and was a member of the Cabinet. He received the Distinguished Citizens Award from President Reagan. Since then, he has served under multiple Presidents in senior advisory positions. Mr. Wright holds a B.S. from the Colorado School of Mines and a Masters in Industrial Administration from Yale University. Mr. Wright currently serves as Chairman of Altamira, a member of the board of directors or board of advisors of Cowen Group, EBIX, and Sequoia Holdings Inc. Mr. Wright was also formerly a member of the board of directors of Systems Control.
