Ryan Crum is a Partner of ClearSky. Mr. Crum brings a unique combination of operational cybersecurity expertise and investment experience to identifying and supporting transformative technology companies. Prior to ClearSky, Mr. Crum spent a decade at Apollo, where his role evolved from Chief Information Security Officer upon joining in 2015 to Chief Security Officer and Chief Technology Officer, leading both cybersecurity and broader technology initiatives for the firm. Before Apollo, Mr. Crum held senior cybersecurity leadership roles at TIAA-CREF as Senior Director, IT Risk & Cyber Security, and at JPMorgan as Executive Director of IT Risk & Compliance, where he served as Global Lead for IT Risk Evaluation Services across all business lines. He began his career as a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Cyber Security Practice, leading crisis response engagements and helping companies establish cybersecurity capabilities across multiple industries.
