Altamira Acquired by Parsons

In January 2026, Security I portfolio company Altamira, a prime contractor providing cybersecurity and space related services to the U.S. government, was acquired by Parsons, a provider of technology-driven solutions in the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets, for $330 million of cash at closing plus an additional $45 million cash earn out payable in Q1 2027 if certain EBITDA targets are met during 2026. Inky Acquired by Kaseya

In October 2025, Security I portfolio company Inky, an AI-based anti-phishing platform designed to track and block unusual or suspicious threats, was acquired by Kaseya, a leading global provider of AI-powered IT and security management software. (Read More).

Qwiet AI Acquired by Harness

In September 2025, Harness acquired Fund IV portfolio company Qwiet AI, a leader in AI-powered vulnerability detection, to strengthen application security by embedding reachability analysis into its platform. This integration enables development teams to reduce security alert noise and prioritize genuine risks, allowing faster code delivery without compromising safety in the era of AI-assisted development. ClearSky Invests in Renew Home Growth Round

In April 2026, Power II invested $2 million in Renew Home‘s $50 million growth round. The funding supports Renew Home’s next phase of commercial scale as it continues to grow its Energy Shift Capacity (ESC) program and virtual power plant (VPP) platform, while advancing partnerships with utilities. Renew Home was named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026, highlighting its work connecting millions of households into a virtual power plant. (Read More).

ClearSky Funds Query.AI’s Convertible Note Round

In March 2026, Security I backed Query.AI‘s convertible note round, building on Query.AI’s momentum following a significant enterprise deal with a major utility provider. Query.AI also launched Federated Detections, a new capability that decouples detection logic from data ingestion. (Read More).

ClearSky Co-Leads XGS’ Series B Round

In February 2026, ClearSky Fund IV co-led XGS Energy‘s Series B financing round. XGS is scaling development on its New Mexico geothermal project with Meta and has signed key partnerships with Baker Hughes for drilling and Vallourec for subsurface pipe supply. XGS was also named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026, pointing out its breakthrough in next-generation geothermal technology. (Read More).

ClearSky Invests in EdgeQ’s Convertible Note

In December 2025, Power II invested $1.5 million in EdgeQ‘s $11 million convertible note financing. EdgeQ won a major nationwide 4G/5G public safety network deployment and is powering Airspan Networks’ new AirUnity small cells for carrier and enterprise LTE/5G deployments. (Read More).

ClearSky Participates in Mitiga Series B Extension

In December 2025, Security I invested $1 million in Mitiga‘s $6.6 million Series B extension round. Mitiga won several large customer logos including a tier-1 US bank and launched Helios AI for alert triage and incident response. (Read More).

Beacon AI Centers Advances Hyperscale Data Center Development in North America

Beacon AI Centers is advancing large-scale data center development, including a proposed project in New Brunswick, Canada in partnership with VoltaGrid. The company is building a pipeline of powered land opportunities across U.S. and Canadian markets, targeting growing hyperscaler demand for AI infrastructure, while continuing to scale its platform and leadership team. (Read More).

BigID Named Leader in IDC MarketScape for Data Privacy Compliance

BigID was named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Data Privacy Compliance Software 2025, reflecting its capabilities across data discovery, classification, and regulatory coverage. The recognition comes as BigID continues to expand its platform with agentic AI functionality and GenAI-driven data classification, aligning its product development with growing enterprise demand for AI governance and data control. Databricks Grows ~65% YoY, Surpasses $5.4 Billion Revenue Run-Rate

Databricks announced it crossed a $5.4 billion revenue run-rate, delivering ~65% year-over-year growth during its Q4 2025. Databricks is raising more than $7 billion in total funding, including approximately $5 billion in equity at a $134 billion valuation and $2 billion in additional debt capacity, to support expansion of Lakebase and Genie. Diamanti Partners with GE Vernova to Support Utility AI and Grid Applications

Diamanti is partnering with GE Vernova to support the deployment of AI and grid applications for utility customers, marking a notable step in its push into energy and infrastructure markets. Diamanti is building out capabilities to support utility-focused workloads, including a new application catalog and AI/ML infrastructure, as it expands relationships with utility software providers and targets broader adoption across the sector. (Read More).

Fermata Showcases Vehicle-to-Grid with PG&E, Nissan and Schatz Energy Research Center

Fermata, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Nissan and the Schatz Energy Research Center are partnering on a first-of-its-kind project that uses electric vehicles and bidirectional chargers within a multi-customer microgrid to deliver automated frequency response and strengthen grid resilience. Fortress has been awarded an IDIQ contract to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in developing and sustaining a Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management capability. Mainspring and Utah Municipal Power Agency Partner for 48 MW Power Generation Project

Mainspring and Utah Municipal Power Agency (UMPA) announced UMPA’s selection of Mainspring Linear Generators to supply 48 MW of new dispatchable local generation capacity. Sceye Completes Historic 12-Day, 6,400 Mile Stratospheric Flight

Sceye successfully completed its Endurance Program, with its SE2 high-altitude platform system (HAPS) completing a 12-day, 6,400-mile stratospheric flight from New Mexico to the coast of Brazil. The flight validated Sceye’s solar-powered energy loop, in-house manufactured hull, and station-keeping capabilities, maintaining position within a 1 km radius for over 88 hours. Pre-commercial test flights with SoftBank Corp. are scheduled for summer 2026 in Japan. (Read More).

The move comes as UIG deepens its position with hyperscaler AI data center customers, securing contracts across all five major hyperscalers and winning a 227 MW data center project slated for 2026/2027.
